Hoo-Ah... Winterfest Casts It's Flurry Like Web Over Cleveland

And to make sure that the hobo's do not impede on the glad tidings, Frank Russo does not embezzle any more of your money, and that all cleavage will get the nice down-blouse view treatment... The boys in blue will be watching you.

But let's not let big brother stop us from having a nice enjoyable evening in Public Square to kick off the the X-Mas season... and contribute to the perpetual frostbite that accompanies the Cleveland winter.

Downtown Cleveland organizations aim to fill Public Square with cheer today as a daylong series of events kicks off the holiday season.

One quick pick to nit... It's GODDAMN CHRISTMAS. Not Winterfest. Ughh. And let's not get started on the 'Holiday Tree'..

That being said... These are the sort of festivals... and entertainment soirres of sort that Cleveland must have if it is even going to continue to represent itself as something resembling a major city in America.

A reader has informed us that the entire production was a debacle... Shoving worse than the Long Island Wal-Mart... , a lighting ceremony of a tree that was lit upon arrival, and too many blacks selling shitty gizmos and flourescent christmas trees.

But at least they had a horse drawn carriage... No word on whether the equine of choice was fed beef-a-roni.
