And apparently, is quite the neighborhood hero. Only his name is Steve Nolan. And he also likes hamburgers, a lot.

"He was making an incredible difference in a lot of young people's lives," Baker said. "The first few weeks he was in prison, he was calling us every day to make sure the youth had programs."

So much of a difference in fact that the leaders of the community are clamoring for this pedophile to have a more 'hands on' interaction with the youth of the Greater Cleveland Region.

"No disrespect to the judge, but I wish they could put some sort of sanction where his sentence would be to work with kids and report to a probation officer,"

Because then Steve Nolan would not have to kidnap them.

In 2005, Nolan tried to lure a 16-year-old Glenville High School student after he approached her in a Jeep Cherokee at St. Clair Avenue and Arbor Road, according to court records.
The girl told authorities Nolan asked her several times to get in his vehicle and offered her money. She testified that when she refused, he left his car and tried to block the direction she was walking. The teen ran away and told police that Nolan got back into the vehicle and pulled off.

But none of this matters to Cortez Freeman : "It hurts to hear he is locked up, man," Cortez said. "He pulled me and a lot of other people out of trouble and gave us a chance. .¤.¤. He didn't want us to make the same mistakes he did."
