Admit it... Or not... We all had one article of the obnoxiously colored, zebra striped, but oh so comfortable fabric in our wardrobe at one time. I personally found myself enraptured by a Boston Bruins Zubaz Hat about 18 years ago. I wore it proudly everyday during my family's New England vacation trip... Through Mystic, Connecticut... to Gloucester, Maine... And (to the dismay of my parents)... At the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. But hey, I was a kid, wearing sweat pant shorts, listening to MC Hammer, and thinking that the greatest achievement in a guys life would be getting the complete set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys.

Stock calls Zubaz a type of fashion, but is not blind to the snickers they draw.

"We know people make fun of them. We'd hear people come in and say 'they're hideous.' We're not trying to set the [fashion] world on fire; we just sell these crazy pants and they're fun."

So... Game on... Sure you may not see it at the America Athletic Club on Grissom Parkway any time soon, but the old Jail... I mean YMCA on 62 and the Bypass is sure to have it's fair share of this gloriously fashionable fabric.

And maybe... Just maybe one day, you too can become these guys... Look for them at your nearest Plantation House Pancake House or Eagles Beachwear Store... or any old street in Socastee.

And you can wear them when you go see Dice..... OH
