Oh, God... Please let it be so.
In one of the more inspiring stories of the NFL season, ambassador for peace and wonder of the world, Brett Favre, is leading his Green Bay Packers on an inspired and largely unexpected blitz
towards the Super Bowl.Yesterday, the football loving public was treated to a snowy bit of Turkish Delight on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin.

I highly doubt that by the end of the day, anyone but Brett Favre could even see through the thick sheets of snow and ice. And predictably...
The Packers destroyed the Seahawks, who are coached by former Green Bay general Mike Holmgren.

Preview - Box Score - Recap
With Lambeau Field looking like a snow globe, the Packers posted their biggest point total in postseason history.

This was exactly the scene Favre imagined when he decided to postpone retirement and try for another Super Bowl ring.
"It does make you appreciate it," the 38-year-old three-time NFL MVP said. "We could be 3-13 next year. Who knows? So enjoy it and try to get the most out of it."
In the months ahead, Wisconsin might again become a winter wonder-land -- will Favre come back again? -- but for now, Cheeseheads are guaranteed at least one more game.
The Packers (14-3) will take on the winner of Sunday's matchup between the New York Giants and Dallas. If the Cowboys win, they'll host Green Bay; if the Giants win, they'll visit Lambeau.
The Cowboys are not looking like a championship caliber team, and who knows with all the Jessica Simpson Hoop-la, and more importantly a busted thumb, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is a little more than suspect. And while TO is a tough son of a bitch and reportedly gay, sometimes an injury is still an injury.
Which bodes quite well for a Giants victory today over Dallas and then another trip back up Lambeau Field. And with what may... may... shape up to be a storybook season, Kevin Costner is furious because Brett Favre is stealing his starring role in his next movie.
But that's not to say John Madden isn't sporting wood right now.
I honestly think his head would explode.
